Project Runway Review Season 15, Episode 1

Hey Everyone!
I'm back with my Season 15, Episode 1 Review on Project Runway!!
Right off the bat I knew I was going to Love this season. Everyone is soo talented and has alot of personality.

Let's Begin!!
First, we see all 16 designers gather at a party welcoming them to Project Runway. So, they talk amongst themselves and try to enjoy each others company, that's when Heidi and Tim walks in.
Hello Everyone, Welcoming  the to Project Runway.

Right then and there the first challenge is given and it's an Unconventional Challenge.
They had to use the items at the party to make a garment. The designers couldn't believe that right off the bat it was a unconventional challenge but we all know project runway will throw us a curve ball really quick.

And they're off!!!
Project Runway Season 15, Episode 1

After all the party decoration were gathered, everyone heads to Parson's.

Project Runway Season 15, Episode 1

Well in the sewing room alot of designers are a little confused, scared and intimidated being that this is one of the hardest challenges but they get on with it. Tim then comes in and tells the designers that this is a 1 day challenge and how be back to talk to each designer.

Let the Review Begin..

Dexter
His creation really fit the bill the way he explained it. I understood exactly where he was coming from and really loved the way he used the accessories. He said he was into tribal, all types and the model looked exactly as if she was going to a "Native American Sweet 16 Party" were it was really cold. Before Tim's critique, I thought he was going no where fast by using the pillow and umbrella but he got his mind right and was in the top.

Tasha
I was a little scared for Tasha because of her fear and not having enough material, in the critique Tim really directed her the right way to being in the top. I love her urban edge and bad girl chic style.

Mah-Jing
I thought the this design was great, he actually crumble magazine paper to make this sensational design. He's someone we really need to watch..

This should have been on the top.

Nathalia
I thought her jacket was outstanding, I wasn't too enthusiastic about the short a pencil ankle pant would have been much better.

Roberi
I love this young man design aesthetic and his back story have me rooting for him. I thought the dress had alot of movement and all of the lanterns intertwining with each other was poetic..

Kimber
I kinda like the shape of this dress, but that's it..

Jenni
At first, the top and shorts looked a little junior until Tim spoke to her and made a jacket.

Ian
I liked it but for an unconventional challenge, I think not.
I can understand you believing in yourself and standing by your work but this wasn't even close to the challenge. I was glad to see him gone..
Arrogant Ass!!

HE'S OUT!!

Cornelius
This was soo inspirational, he used plates and flowers, it thought it was romantic and sweet..

Brik
Just like the judges said, it was confusing. The pant was done well and the way he took the hat bills and put them on the shoulders was innovative . He just should have used one style and went all the way with it..
