Thrifted Quilt into Coat/Jacket. Obsessed!!!

Hello Everyone!!!
Back again with my newest obsession.

The Quilted Jacket/ Coat!!!

I know, I know it's been a "thing" for years but, something came over me when I saw a fellow You Tuber, making one. A light just clicked on and I fell head over heels in love with them.

I used the pattern below and was quite happy with the results with a little tweaking.
I lengthened the bottom about 4 inches, added pockets but didn't add a zipper.

It had been on my mind for a minute, then a little voice in my head said, go to the thrift store. I always, always listen to that little voice and low and behold, there it was the cutest quilt that I had to have.

I really wanted to use the blue side, but it looked a little more used than the red side. It must have been a king size because I have a lot more quilt leftover.

I took apart the bias tape and used it for trimming the neckline and pockets.

Another view of the neckline opened..

Loving!!!

I serged everything on it.

I tried to match the patterns, as you can see.

I love this Quilted Jacket soo much!! I know the Fall/Winter Season, she's going to be on my jacket rotation a hell of a lot.
