2015 Emmy Awards Fashion Review

Hey Everyone!
I'm here again this year for the best and worst dress of the 2015 Emmy Awards. 
The stars were out and everyone looked beautiful, well almost everyone. I'm going to be giving you the Great, Good, Bad, and the Ugly of fashion..

Let's start with the Great..


Amanda Pete looked Gorgeous in this beautiful black cut-out Michael Kors gown.
It kinda reminds me of Ashley's picture dress on Project Runway.. 


Sarah Hyland looks all grown up in this Zac Posen beautiful Merlot colored number.

New Orleans Style Homemade  Yaka-Mein!! If you're not form New Orleans, then you probably will not know what this is. But if you do, then here's the recipe for "Yaka-Meat". Inspired Faux Leather Square Obi Belt

Hey Everyone!!! Today, I'm coming at you today with an accessory an Obi belt to be more specific. I've been obsessed with Loewe's Wide Obi Belt since I've seen it on one of my favorite Youtubers.  As some of you all already know, I love to recreate designer fashion but give a twist to it. I love doing this at a fraction of the cost to tell the truth I actually did this for FREE.. Yes, FREE with faux black leather I purchased from Wal-Mart years ago. I love how the belt cinches in your waist, making your silhouette even more dramatic. Can you say Statement Piece? It feels more like art to me, such sculpture statement to make.  Inspiration: Loewe Wide Obi Belt It's not really a tutorial, more of a pictorial. I actually used a old peplum pattern and cut the shape I wanted. I can't give you dimensions, you'd have to make the shape to want.. When you get the shape you want, you cut the pattern.  Make sure you cut 2

New Orleans Style Seafood Gumbo Recipe

Gumbo is one of my husband's favorite dishes  he LOVES me to make..  If it was up him, we'd have it every week..  "TOO EXPENSIVE" Especially living in Dallas..  Well here's a short cut, easy way to make my delicious New Orleans Style Seafood Gumbo.. Ingredients: Seafood Stock  Creole Gumbo Base ( I also made a roux) Crab meat 3 cans Whole Oysters Canned ( raw wasn't available) 1-2 Pounds of Shrimp 10-15 crabs S/P Bay Leaves Gumbo File' Water 3 Onions 3 Celery Stacks 6 Garlic Cloves Turkey Sausage 1/2 Cup of Flour Rice Chop and saute onions, celery and garlic until all veggies are translucent.   Put aside and in same pan brown sausage. Combine veggies and sausage together. Put 1/2 cup of flour in veggies and mix until is becomes pasty. See Pasty!!! Add Seafood Stock and Bay Leaves in Stock Pot. Let simmer for about 5 minutes to get the flavor out of the B/L..
